Crime Mapping Service

The Olympia Police Department and its law enforcement partners throughout Thurston County are putting the finishing touches on a program that will allow you to map crime throughout the City, report some types of crime via the internet, request accident reports online, and register your bicycle online.

Police Department Online Services Portal

Constituents can use the online services portal to search for public safety incidents and arrests, submit incident reports, obtain copies of crash reports, and access other useful information.

Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement works in partnership with the people of Olympia to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment.

Vacation Property Checks

This program, sponsored by the Olympia Police Department Volunteers in Police Services, allows residents to request low-level security security checks of their homes while they are away.

Thurston Economic Development Council

The TEDC helps local businesses stay competitive by providing them with resources, messaging, and partnerships, as well as advocacy on the businesses’ behalf.

Thurston Regional Planning Council

The TRPC plans how to address the challenges accompanying the region’s growth. They have regular, open meetings and they provide studies and information related to the region’s transportation, growth management, and environmental quality.

Request for Proposals

The City sometimes contracts with individuals and businesses to work on individual projects for the city. The city provides an updated list of contracts they are hiring for, as well as all open contracts.

Neighborhood Traffic Management Program

The Neighborhood Traffic Management Program helps residents address traffic concerns in their neighborhood. Neighbors nominate their street for speed control devices, and work with City staff to plan and build their devices

Graffiti Abatement

Have a problem with graffiti in your neighborhood? The Public Works Department provides free graffiti removal kits to recognized Neighborhood Associations & Block Watch neighborhoods. More Information: To request a kit, call 360-570-3737 or email graffiti@ci.olympia.wa.us.
